The Beauty of Sun Moon Lake (日月潭風景區)

For me and many tourists, Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan can be one destination that takes your breath away and makes you say 'this is it'! :D

A very good view in between the mountains. Morning and evening view is really awesome. Sun Moon Lake Rope Way (日月潭風景區) ride is a very good activity to get the best lake view. If you want to go to Sun Moon Lake you must take cable car from station in the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village (九族文化村).

Sun Moon Lake is the largest part of water in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction.
Situated in YuchiNantou, the area around the Sun Moon Lake is home to the Thao tribe (One of aboriginal tribes in Taiwan). Sun Moon Lake surrounds by tiny island called Lalu
Lalu Island (
拉鲁岛)
 located
at the middle of Sun Moon Lake
and actually it was man made island.

Once it was opened for the public to step on it, however, it was closed since an serious incident occured.
While swimming in Sun Moon Lake is usually not permitted. It is ridiculously easy to take romantic pictures at Sun Moon Lake.
So happy for being there ... :)

You have to take a walk along the cluster of business along the street. There were a lot of tourists arriving at the Shuishe pier just to take a boat ride. Because in this place the boat ride is the most famous object for many tourists. If you want to go to the SyuanGuang Temple (玄光寺) you must use the boat.

Taking the boat ride was new experience to me. The scenery was varied from the lake to the land. There are more than 100 boats that can bring us to Lalu Island that sells many sourvernirs and typical food of Lalu Island, and also the typical drinks.

In the boat usually you will be offered Mushroom Herbal Egg (香菇茶叶蛋).
This was the famous egg. The old lady could make NT$ 20,000-40,000 per day just by selling eggs. Her one day earning could pay for her entire year of rent and tax. This egg also sold in Lalu Island.
